41 people injured in bus accident
41 people were injured in a bus accident that occurred on the Eskişehir-Kütahya highway on Saturday morning.
According to a report from Gerçek Fethiye, the driver lost control of the steering wheel on the D230 highway, and the passenger bus from the Bodrum district of Muğla swerved off the road and into rough terrain.
14 of the injured people were discharged from the hospital, and 1 of the 27 people who were kept under observation in the hospital was in serious condition.
The treatment of the driver continues.
Bus from Fethiye to Istanbul crashed
In a separate incident, four people were injured when a bus going from Muğla Fethiye to Istanbul hit a vehicle slowing down at the red light on the Habipler road, crossed the barriers and hit five vehicles coming in the opposite direction.
Seven passengers on the bus survived the accident without injury and four people in the other vehicles were injured. Three of the injured were treated at the scene by the medical teams and one was treated at the hospital.
Health, police and fire crews were dispatched to the scene upon notification.

Charging stations set up in Fethiye
Charging Stations which generate their own electricity from solar energy are now in place on the 2nd Stage Beach Line and Beşkaza Square in Fethiye.
The stations enable people to charge their phone batteries whilst out and about.

Türkiye bike network expands with over 1,600 kms of lanes
Türkiye has completed 1,643 kilometres (1,020 miles) of bicycle lanes and 373 kilometres of green walkways across the country encouraging the use of bicycles as an environment-friendly alternative to urban traffic congestion, the Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki said Friday.
According to the statement from the ministry, Özhaseki emphasized the efforts to continue establishing “A Türkiye Woven with Bicycle Networks” in the Century of Türkiye.
The statement further highlighted that financial support is provided to local administrations for the bicycle lane and green walkway projects in line with the target of achieving the construction of 3,000 kilometers-long bicycle lanes determined in the Presidential Action Program.

Prisoners in Britain raise funds for Türkiye earthquake survivors
Inmates serving prison terms in the city of Manchester in Britain launched a charity campaign to support earthquake survivors in Türkiye’s southeast.
Donations collected by prisoners at Dovegate jail for the benefit of earthquake victims were delivered to the Turkish Consulate General in Manchester.
