Rize, known as the tea capital of the Black Sea, is the largest town on the eastern coast near Trabzon. Its growth has flourished entirely due to tea cultivation, introduced to Türkiye in the 1930s from neighboring Georgia, where tea was first planted in the late 19th century.
Join Mick and Trudie as they explore the lush tea plantations of Rize, discovering scenic spots, charming cafes, and delicious local eateries along the way.
