Today, the passage has evolved once again. Instead of flower stalls, visitors now find traditional Turkish meyhanes lining both sides of the elegant walkway. Tables spill out beneath the ornate ironwork and glass ceiling, while plates of mezes, fresh seafood, and grilled dishes are shared over glasses of rakı. The atmosphere is filled with conversation, laughter, and the unmistakable sound of clinking glasses, capturing the spirit of Istanbul’s social dining culture.
